Okay, okay, so yes. We had a dance last night, on April 30th. And, as shocking as this sounds, it's my new favorite! EEP!

So anyways, onwards my minions! No, okay. I'm spazzing, I'm sorry.

So! Finally!:

So I got on the bus to the dance, and we just talked the whole way down. Nobody was ridiculously excited, because no one really expected this to be a great dance. Not many people were coming, including Laurence, sadly enough. He had a soccer game... Yeah, I don't know why either. xD

So when the bus got there, I went downstairs, met up with Drew and Patrick, and started to dance like a maniac because none of my girlfriends were there yet. I decided I needed to use the bathroom, and walked up the stairs into the commons just in time to see Eileen and Abi walk through the doors. I greet them, and go back downstairs to dance. We danced around and so on when a slow song came on. I just started to waltz around the room alone after getting three no's. xD The song went off, and the fast music came back on. I left to eat some pineapple with Abi. xD We danced some more, and then around 8 (the dance started at 7), another slow song comes on. I think Eileen danced with Braden here (as a dare from me. xD). At this point, I really was sort of missing Laurence. It's weird how one person's presence can change how you act, or think... So again, I dance alone, just rocking. The song ends, and we go back to dancing like maniacs. I remembered that I'd agreed to request Never Say Never again, because it's an awesome slow song. I did that, and meandered back to the back of the dance floor,

Now is about when I spazzed out for real: Laurence walked in. I was freaking out. xD Me, Abi, Eileen, and Jenna more or less tackled him because he wasn't supposed to be there. He told us something about his soccer game that I didn't hear at all. xDD

So finally, another slow song came on. Had to have been about 8:30. The dance ended at 9. Open Arms, by Journey. One of our group's requests. It was more of a joke than anything, but it was still a good slow song. We were hoping to get Drew to dance with this girl who clearly likes him, and is really cute (he did). I suggest looking it up, if you don't know how it goes. I asked Laurence, and he said sure. So we were just dancing like regular people, and I ask, "So what happened with you soccer game?" He smiles and says, "We won!" I hugged him, and he helped, and we continued to dance like that. Abi ran around us with her hands in a heart, of course. xD She must have gotten bored of that, because she left after a little while. And as the song ended, I pulled back, and kissed him on the cheek. He grins and says, "Okay." and walks away. My friends had to guide me slowly away from the dance floor. xD I proceeded to drop my lime (being quite literal here) on the floor at least ten times. xD My quote, "Aww, man! My lime just fell off." xD

We go back inside, and start having a blast. Lo and behold, the next song we hear play? "Every Time We Touch" by Cascada. The look on Laurence's face was priceless. I wonder if he requested it. xD I went crazy, motions and all. It was a blast. xDD

Then, at about 8:50, the DJ announced that there was one more song, anybody's choice. The song? "Never Say Never" The Fray. I danced with Laurence again. It was so cute. I put my hands on his shoulders, but he didn't even bother, and just started hugging me. xD I love him. I kissed him on the cheek again, and then we all waited for the lights to turn on, as that had been the last dance. They didn't. The DJ says, "Well, it looks like we have time for one last song. I bet you guys know this one."

All I can say: Best. Dance. Ever.
