Okay, so I found out who he likes.
It's this popular, blonde, cheerleader, Becca Melhorn.
I was soo freakin pissed. And confused and bleah! Ricky isn't the type of person who I would think would fall for a popular person. He, like me, doesn't like the populars! So why does he like Becca?! I know not. But it was very hard to get him to tell us. Me and Georgia had to call in the entire army of llamas, ninjas, and we also had to use jet packs. We nearly contacted Evil Fred and Super Bunny for backup. But, then, we didn't have to, because Ricky told Georgia and she told me.

ROFL! Fear the Super Bunny! Aw, but I'm sorry. That really sucks. xP That's like Laurence telling me that he likes Maddie. *shudder* (The Maddie in my RL. Not our Maddie.) Ooh, that's weird! xD Because the guy I USED to like a long time ago (nearly a year) ended up liking a girl called Becca. (xD I ran into them snogging in the hallway. LOL. Lol, I've gone out with someone but never kissed anyone. And me and Brandon were just like... bleah. We hugged once, never held hands, never kissed on the cheek or anything. It sucked. I wanted to kiss him at the time, and I think he wanted to kiss me, too, but we just never did. IDK. We never really talked in real life either. Just texting or IMing. It wasn't a very good relationship at all. I'm soo glad it's over.

Lol, yeah, today at the end of the day, I was standing with Becca (not BeccaMelhorn), Daisy, Gabe, and Georgia, and then Ricky came up from behind us and he was like "Free Hugs Wednesday never ends!" (free hugs Wednesday was like last week or two weeks ago) and he hugged me but he didn't hug anyone else. It made me uber uber happy. I think your master plan is working! To just try to make it sorta obvious, and also just to be flirty and show him that we. are. perfect. for. eachother.

LOL! Yeah, you'd be surprised. I've had experience in bringing the guys in. Another thing that works really well, is to "accidentally" brush past him or full on run into him in the halls. Or if you're passing in the opposite direction, and he catches you gaze, just beam at him, and maybe give him a playful shove, or mess up his hair. xD I do that all the time. It usually works. Or perhaps that's just me... xD

xD Yeah, today, since he got a haircut, I of course had to mess up his hair. When he came to my locker so we could go to Ms.Reynold's room together, I was like, "RICKY!" and ran up to him and messed up his hair. xD

If that makes sense... so I'm thinking that he likes me but he doesn't think I like him, and really we should just get over ourselves and tell eachother we like eachother. xD
LOL! Omg, that's funny. Ahhaa, yeah, last year, everyone knew Brandon was going to ask me out, and so that day, it was like all everyone was talking about, xD, and wow, it was insane. Like in Spanish, he was in my class, and my teacher made me go speak in front of the class because I'm good at Spanish, and stuff, and so I hear Luke go, "Oooh... Papa Smurf... Nadine... oooooooohhhhhh....." (Don't ask why they call him Papa Smurf. Long story. ) and I was like OHMYGOD. xD It was horrible.
But yeah, everyone is always asking me and Ricky if we're going out, and Shannii says people are asking her if me and Ricky are going out, also. We act like we do. So it makes sense.

LOL! Eh, don't let Cassie bother you. I hang out with more guys than I do girls, so I think I have a fairly good grasp on how they think:

See, they like you, and then somehow find out that you like them, but then they try to contradict that you like them and that they like you using whatever sources possible, because they don't want you to expect them to ask them out, so they're kind of freaked out when they can't find something to say that you don't like them, so then they start wondering if they really like you, eventually conclude that they do, start flirting like heck, get teased by all their friends because they don't want ANYBODY to know that they like you because they're not usually smart enough to figure out that all the guys in the grade have had a crush at one point in time. So then they're freaking out because everybody has guessed who they like. (guys are HORRIBLE at trying to conceal who they like) And then they're afraid that you've let go at this point, and that you no longer like them anymore, so they start beating themselves up for not have asking you out earlier, just to find out that you still do like them, but then they've determined that asking you out would make it public, who they like, that is, and don't really want that to happen, so they're so friggin' scared that they would just rather not start the whole process.

My point being, does this sound like what happens?:

You, Ricky, and a few other friends maybe are just standing around chatting.

A random person walks up:
"Nadine! Are you and Ricky dating?"
You reply,"Nah, we're just friends." while blushing and slightly wishing you could answer yes.

You look at Ricky and he is either very red and staring at you to see what you answer, or very red, tugging at the collar of his shirt, fiddling with a button on his pants, and looking pointedly in the other direction.

Your other friends start giggling and maybe doing this face: at you.

Ricky might be slightly quiet after, or mysterious disappear, or make a nervous joke, and laugh it off.

If anything like that happens, then he definitely likes you. I've learned from experience that that's how a guy behaves if somebody has guessed who they like.

Lol, yeah, that's pretty much what happens. This, exactly, is how it goes:

Person - "Nadine, are you and Ricky going out?!"
Me - "No..." *looks away pointedly and really wants to say yes*
Ricky - "Hah, everyone thinks we are." *avoids eye contact with me*
Me - "Yeah, I know." *pretends to be very interested with English notebook*
Person - *raises eyebrows or laughs, and then walks away*

This happens about twice a day. xD

Yep. He likes you. No doubt about it. Want to here my say? From what you're saying about the whole deal with Becca Melhorn, this is what I'm thinking:

He's faking a crush, because he doesn't want to be embarrassed in front of all his friends (including his gal-friends,) when he or one of his friends accidentally blurts out that he likes you. I, for the record, have faked a crush before, when I was in the denial stage. Back in fifth grade when I really didn't want to admit to myself, or anyone else, that I liked Laurence. I faked a crush on a guy called Gray. I actually caught on to that one for real, but then gave it up last year when I really didn't like him anymore. Just wait until he stops denying that he likes you, because that's where he is right now. It won't take long to pass, mark my words. My guess is that within a month he'll say that he doesn't like Becca Melhorn anymore. I've learned. Nowadays when people ask me and you-know-who if we like each other, neither of us deny it anymore. We just walk away slowly. xD Just wait. That's all I can say. See if he gets all flirty within 3 weeks. My guess is that he will... We'll have to wait and see.

Ahaha, I love that saying, though. His pupils don't really dialate, no, but he always makes eye contact, which I think is nice. I hate it hwen people are talking to me and they don't look at me directly.
