Mark stopped short, seeing a girl a ways down the trail. "Ah, shit," he muttered as she turned around, blonde curls swinging.
"Marky!" she squealed, rushing towards him.

As Mark turned around to explain, the girl ran at him and jumped on him piggy-back style, wrapping her arms around his neck and legs around his waist.
"Lilly, meet my ex-girlfriend, Melissa," said Mark in a bored voice.

Mark gladly kissed her back. It was cute how protective she was. When the kiss broke, Melissa was looking mutinous.
"I'm not through with you," she hissed to Lilly, and then stormed off.

Lilly discreetly flipped her off, then turned back to Mark. "I can't believe you dated her!" she exclaimed. "Er, no offence," she said quickly, not wanting to offend Mark.
