Re: The Shadow Wolf
Nope. Yes, I'm SO excited to see them. I don't know... I have a fear of heights, and then of the plane crashing, and my mind likes to think about worst case scenarios, which makes plane rides terrible. xD

Re: The Shadow Wolf
That sounds awesome, Lauren! Most of my family members live close by, but my best friend lives in Florida, so I know how hard it is to be apart from the people you love and how amazing it is when you see them again. Ah, I don't mind plane rides, it's just that they're really boring. Especially the 6 hours to Cali, or the I don't even remember how many to London..
Re: The Shadow Wolf
Ugh... xD Yeah, I know. I get the six hour flight to Florida. Hmm... My BFF lived in Virginia (pretty far from here) for two years. She moved back this year. It's like, YES! My relatives live about halfway across the country, but I don't get to see them often... It's gonna be fun. We're going to hit an awesome theme park while we're there.

Re: The Shadow Wolf
So does my mind
Well, that's great you can see them! Most of my family lived within a half hour radious, and my BFF lives in North Carolina...

Re: The Shadow Wolf
LOL! Hopefully the writing should get better from here on out, because I got an inspiration for the one line ("Mistletoe") in Math class, and I had to ninja-write, because I wanted to write that part so badly. xD I told Eileen, and she's all, "OMG! YES! It's so sweet!" xD

Re: The Shadow Wolf
It was! I'm going to have something like that in my novel, I swear. Just like in HP5 with Harry and Cho, and now in your story, and now it goes into The Dork Side! WOOOO! ^.^
Re: The Shadow Wolf
Go for it! I think I'll probably have a scene sort of like that in all my books, but this one was cool, because the mistletoe grew there above them, and it was like, "That wasn't there before and..." *shudder* Oh yeah, that did happen in OOTP! I'd forgotten. Lol, your novel is called "The Dork Side?" Awesome!

Re: The Shadow Wolf
Hahaa, just like it did in the OOTP movie, too! Haha, yeah! I was brainstorming for a fantasy story of mine called "The Dark Side" while in English class and suddenly--BANG. The title hit me and the plot followed. I used the prologue for my English Final Project and got 100.
Re: The Shadow Wolf
Also true. xD Wow, Harry Potter infests my brain even when I'm not trying to think about it... That is so cool. Ooh, awesome.

Re: The Shadow Wolf
Me, too. Like tonight driving home, AJ goes, "Look at the moon!" and suddenly I'm very tempted to quote Ron from HBP and say "It's beautiful, isn't it? The moon..." xD Without even thinking about it, I nearly said it, accent and everything. xD
Re: The Shadow Wolf
ROFL, you should have! Is AJ a Harry Potter fan?

Re: The Shadow Wolf
He hasn't read the books D: He's seen the movies but he doesn't remember much from them. I'm like about to murder him until he reads the books. xD
Re: The Shadow Wolf
OMG, AJ! You naughty boy! Read the books!

Re: The Shadow Wolf
IKR?!! I'm like READ THEM! He's like THEY'RE SO LONG! I'm like I DON'T CARE READ THEM! *shoves book in AJ's face* xD He was like "200 pages is a really long book!" when I was talking about my goal for TDS, and I was like "No, it's actually barely a novel..." xD
Re: The Shadow Wolf
LOL, wow. Well, we need to talk him into it. I'm getting my 9-year-old little brother into reading them, and he's enjoying it so far. He's on chapter 5, which is right where it starts to get good, and HE WON'T READ. He's like, "I'll do it tonight." Then he doesn't, "Oh, well, I'll do it tonight." and he doesn't. Seeing a pattern here? But AJ, you can handle the Harry Potter-ness! You won't regret it!

Re: The Shadow Wolf
Hahah, Scott read the HP books starting at age 8 I think and carried on stealing them from my room, taking them as soon as I finished reading them. He read DH when he was nine (poor Scott, exposed to cursing at such an innocent young age. xD) in a few days! I was like YEAH SCOTT WAY TO BE! xD Haha yes! If a nine-year-old boy could read a 700something-page book in two days, I think a fourteen-year-old boy can manage the series. xD
