Wish we could go back to preschool
When stereotypes didn't exist
When there was no meaning to "popular" or "cool"
They were just petty myths.

Where we had the best of times
Our days were filled with laughs and games,
Naps and nursery rhymes.

We were friends with everyone
Our parents would organize playdates
And we'd frolick under the sun.

I like it! xD Reminds me of this avatar I found when I was searching. It said,"What happened to preschool when you were cool if you had the 64 pack of crayons?" LOL! I like it a lot though. Very true.

This poem kind of ties in with this short story I wrote for English. I actually named that story, Back To Preschool. xD But yeah, the story was about a tomboy named Maddie (creativity with the names here xD) who was in preschool and didn't want to draw with chalk or jump rope with the girls, so she played with the boys at recess instead, and then i had something else and some exposition at the end saying how like nine years later half of these people wouldn't even know who she was if you asked, and something slightly depressing and what not. It was a much better story than it sounds. Maybe I'll post it.

Ahaa, yeah. I don't know any other Maddies, but I do know a Lauren, and she is nothing like you. She's a snobby fashion brat who's best friends with the evil Kara... and then there's you, and you're just awesome

Anyway, this is an awesome poem! Although, I've never been to preschool so I have no idea what goes on there. :?

xD Because I wrote a story and the first name I thought of for a fun, tomboy person was you, Maddie, so I used your name. I also thought of you, Lauren. But I know a Lauren in real life, and I wanted to use a name that wasn't anybody's in my grade.

=) Preschool is pretty dang awesome. You get to draw with fingerpaint and have snack and nap time. You don't really learn much, except for the alphabet, maybe.
