And she makes it through another day...
Wishing the pain would just go away...
Praying that they didn't have to part...
Day by day, she hides her broken heart...

Hearts Emotion
If my heart could cry, it would cry until it stopped beating..
If my heart could smile, it would smile at you...
If my heart could feel, it would feel broken....
If my heart could love only one person, it would love you...

~Broken~
Darkness surrounds me,
This pain i feel astounds me.
I wish that someone was there,
Someone that would really care.
And even though I want to cry,
I hold my head up high.
This pain is so strong,
And its gone on far too long.
I thought that I could make it,
And though I surely tried.
My heart is just to fragile,
Its all broken up inside.

I Can't Breathe
My greatest fear was losing you
And that you are gone
My heart just feels so empty
Theres nothing inside at all
And even though I'm broken
Somehow I make it through
But I'm not sure how much longer
'Cause I can't breathe without you...

Insane
There's no more tears
There's no more pain
You took my life
you went insane.

I fell to my knees,
as I watched her walk away,
You walk up and say,
"Are you okay?"
I look at you and smile,
As tears run down my face
And ever since you came along,
My heart has no empty space.

I struggle with rhyming. Razz

It took me forever to write those two. I only write good poetry when I'm depressed. Which is weird, cuz I can't write anything else when I'm depressed, it always sound boring.

Yeah, I find it easiest to write poetry when I'm depressed or upset or angry. Most poetry is emotion-based, so it's easiest to write it when emotions are running high.

Yeah, I find that if I'm happy (which is very rare) I can't write poems to save my life. But, I write really good chappies in my story. And then the other ay around when I'm depressed.

Tankinz! I wrote that at school a couple days ago, and I just remembered it.

I write happy poems, but usually I write sad poems.
Most of my uncompleted stories are tragic because I get all upset, start writing a depressing, scary, and tragic prologue to a story, and then come back to it when I'm happy and go, wow, I was really depressed. And then abandon it. xP

I rather enjoy writing sad parts in my story, even if it makes me cry, but it's a good skill to have for sure.

It certainly is. If it makes you sad, it'll make the reader sad, and that is the desired effect. And if it makes you happy, it'll make the reader happy, and that's also a desired effect. (:
