EMOtional

A crack in the heart
A stab in the back
A cut on the wrist
Misery attack

And the blood drips down
Stains the floor
But I don’t care
Anymore

It’s raining outside
The world fades to gray
Clouds roll in
Colors wash away

Tear stained-cheeks
Whispers surround me
They say I’m insane
Maybe they’re right about me

Maybe I’m nothing more than a loner
Black trying to be part of a rainbow
But I think they’re wrong
I’m more than they know

But for now I stand alone
Lost in the crowd
Depression turning my world
Upside down

A flash of silver
And pearls of blood drip from my wrist
Physical pain is an escape
But no one can know about this

I’m full of secrets
Full of lies
Broken toys
And wasted time

I’m just so
EMOtional.
