Nadine's eyelashes fluttered as she woke up, feeling very safe and secure. The first thing she saw when she opened her eyes was James staring right back at her, with those beautiful, beautiful blue eyes.

James smiled at Nadine as her eyes flickered open.

[Dreamer]

"Goodmorning," she murmured, gently pressing her lips to his.

[Tolly12bells]

"You mean afternoon," James mumbled.

[Dreamer]

Nadine glanced at the clock. "Okay. Good afternoon," she corrected herself, kissing him again.

[Tolly12bells]

James grinned, and put his head on her shoulder.

[Dreamer]

Nadine kissed the top of his head, and played with his hair.

James felt completely at ease, just lying here. Of course, as always, the moment didn't last.
"Oh, goodness, you two are finally awake." James mom burst into the room.

[Dreamer]

Nadine sighed almost imperceptivly (sp, I know) and then smiled at Mrs. Tuzet. "Thank you so much for letting me stay over, Mrs. Tuzet. I feel bad for intruding on your hospitality."

((Okay, that doesn't really make sense, but it sounds polite, so OH WELL.))

[Tolly12bells]

"Oh, it's nothing at all dear," Mrs. Tuzet said cheerfully.

[Dreamer]

Nadine smiled, and thanked her again.
"Not at all, dear. Well, I'll be downstairs if you need me," said Mrs. Tuzet, vacating the scene.

James didn't know what he could do except sit quietly. He was sort of at loss for words.

Nadine brushed her hand across James's cheek. "You alright?"

James blinked, "Yeah, I'm fine. I'll always be fine as long as you're mine." he paused, "You know, sorry, that just rhymed..."

Nadine giggled and gently pressed her lips to his. "I love you."

James held her there for a moment, and then pulled back a little, realizing something, "We really should get up and dressed before we kiss," he stated, despite it sounding awkward, "because this wouldn't look good if Mum walked in right now..."

((Me too! I had like, a million things to post, and guess who's forgotten them? Ugh.))

[Dreamer]

"Mmm, true," Nadine sighed. "Should I change back into what I was wearing yesterday, or borrow something?"

[Tolly12bells]

"Actually," James looked around his room, "It's looks like Mom ninja'd in here sometime in the night, and took the laundry. Let me go find it." he rubbed his eyes one more time, and scampered to the laundry room, grabbing nice, dry, warm clothes out of the dryer. Nadine's things had all been washed.
He walked back into his room, "Here, Mom washed them. They're all warm. It's lovely."

[Dreamer]

"Thanks," Nadine smiled. "I'll go change." She went into the bathroom and changed into the warm skinny jeans, sweatshirt, and cami. She then smiled at how her hair had managed to not become a rat's nest overnight, and put it up in a messy bun. Feeling quite cozy and cheerful, she went back into James's room.

James started as Nadine walked in on him. He was currently in his boxers, and nothing else, digging for clean pants in his drawer.
"Oh! Er, Nadine, how, very, dashing you look. Great to-- Oh wow I fail," this all came out very very quickly, and he yanked some clothes out, and threw them on. It wasn't then until he realized he had put on... how did that get in there? I pink butterfly shirt. Of course. Why his Mom had that in his drawer was a mystery.

[Dreamer]

Nadine cracked up despite herself. "I'm sorry," she giggled, "it's just, why?" She indicated his shirt, laughing.

[Tolly12bells]

James grimaced a little, then laughed, "Honestly, I've no idea. This has been in my drawer for as long as I can remember." He pulled it off, and found a blue polo, "This is better."

[Dreamer]

Nadine nodded, still giggling.

[Tolly12bells]

"And now," he kissed her quickly, "that I've got that urge out of the way, shall we go get some breakfast/lunch?"

[Dreamer]

"Indeed we should. Brunch, away!" Nadine pointed at about a forty-five degree angle (AHHH MATH) and charged out of his bedroom, pulling him along with her.
