Various Freewrites

I don't freewrite a whole lot, but after I saw people posting them, I started. It's definitely helpful to get all those random little story bits out of my brain. Otherwise my stories take ridiculous plot twists because I can't get them out of my head. xD So here they all are....

I flung my coat into the wind, screaming. Not caring about the mascara trickling down my cheeks that were raw from the rain and hail that had been pounding on me for the past ten minutes.
He had no right to leave me.
I had no right to accept it.
My own father. Abandoned.
Mother dead.
Me left alone on these streets of agony where nobody stopped to comfort a teenage girl. Let alone one throwing a temper tantrum.
What kind of world do we live in?

It had been beyond my control.
I had never meant for it to happen.
Not my fault.
My brain held to this thought as though it were a rope in a match of tug-of-war with the rest of the world.
Groans echoed from inside my mind.
It wasn’t my fault.
I didn’t cause this to happen.
I couldn’t have prevented it if I had tried.
I couldn’t be my fault.
Screams shake the windowpanes of the home in my head.
People change.
Everything changes.
It’s not just me.
Couldn’t be my fault.
I’m no different than the rest.
‘Unique’ has lost it’s meaning.
Gasps and cried ricochet, shattering my sanity. My self-control.
It was all my fault.

Not everything in the world is how we think it is.
Not people. Not acquaintances. Not peers. Not friends. Not lovers. Not family.
Nobody.
The world is filled with lies. They penetrate our minds, forcing us to accept the shocking reality that is our life. Spoon-fed to us through teachers and parents.
Santa Claus.
The Easter Bunny.
The Tooth Fairy.
Christopher Columbus.
The pilgrims.
Lies. All of them.
We receive lie after lie, untruth after untruth, only to have them come to a shattering stop.
“Not real.” “Didn’t happen.” “Not true.” “Twist of the truth.”
No wonder nobody can believe in anything anymore...

She’s lost all control. It’s been wasted. Needled away, day after day. Life full of bullies, abuse, loneliness. She can’t take it anymore.
She’s like a clown with a painted smile whether she wants it or not.
No help. Not fine. Not alright. Not okay. Not in the slightest is she okay.
Nobody cares. Nobody loves. Nobody misses. Nobody understands. Nobody knows.
Life that has so desperately been trying to escape her flits away like a dog, freed at last of it’s leash.
She falls to the ground, and a knife clatters from her fingertips.
Nobody comes.

Hundreds of varieties.
Daydreams. Nightmares. Sweet dreams. Romantic dreams. Fantasies.
All chase the others in circles around the brain, only free to release themselves when the brain is relaxed. The moment it’s not guarding its gates, they slip out into reality, forming murals and paintings, motion pictures and animations, forming scene after scene for the viewer to enjoy or cower from.
Dreams are the only thing in this universe that let us drift away from our life, and for a few moments, inhabit someplace different.
They keep us from overworking ourselves, over-analyzing a situation, over-stressing our life.
Dreams may be the most important aspect of our lives. But instead --
The crack of a ruler on a desk, and a sharp, “Pay attention!”
If only the rest of the planet understood.

Thanks! It means a lot. You know, this is good. These are the thoughts that run in circles in my brain. It's nice to get them down on paper.

... I was thinking of the HP literal trailer. xD Bad guy, at a safe distance... Hmm. Alright. I'm proud. My writing has become undescribable. Score!

Nice, I liked the second one a lot, and the second to last. Those were all really good though!

They're all really good though. Yeah, 'cause you need to be able to write sad things, otherwise your books turn out to fast.
