It's supposedly to keep people from spamming, but that doesn't work. People still post,"hihihihihihihihi" I've actually seen a post like that. And links are always more than ten letters long so that's useless again. Eye Roll

It just makes people post MORE spam. If your message is short but meaningful, then having a 10-letter requirement will make you spam it. Like adding extra letters and such. Or TONS of smilies - annoying much? I mean, smilies are cool, but since they often count as, like, three characters, people you them for spam for the 10-letter-rule.
