You guys. Chris and I broke up.

Alright. I'm sorry... I sort of knew already, but, I have to clarify. You broke up with him, correct?

Aw.... What did happen?

Technically, no, Lauren. He broke up with me. But he's the one with the broken heart, because I was the one who fell out of love.
He called me yesterday because I've been kind of distant lately, and he asked me if I still wanted to make this work. And I said yes, even though I wasn't sure. But then we continued talking about it and in the end it came up that I didn't love him anymore, that I had simply fallen out of love. By the end of this hour-long conversation we were both crying quite a bit, he had hung up on me and called me back about four times, each time beginning with "I just don't understand how this could happen... what do you want to do?" When clearly we had just broken up. So this went on for a while, and then finally he stopped calling.
I know it comes as a shock to all of you but Lauren, because we seemed so perfect, didn't we? I guess I just finally began to see his flaws.
This happens to me every time. Everything is great for the first few months, and then I either realize that I actually don't like a lot of things about them, or I fall for someone else, or both.
I hate being the heartbreaker.
But then later that night he was texting me even though I told him I needed some space and he was being a complete immature douchebag and making up bullshit, and that just got me angry. I had been beginning to regret it, but at this point, he's just done. He's in my past. The end.

No, no, no... xP Well, that's pretty harsh, dude... I'm sorry. And don't feel like you're always the heartbreaker. You don't have any control over your feelings. And really, it was happiness, and pure bliss for a few months, right? Never regret what has truly made you happy...

Anyway, no matter what happens, I'm waiting at least a month before I get into another relationship. I need to take a break from boys.

I don't know if this was a dream, or I remembered it... But, didn't you say that a couple times ago, Nadine? Could have been a dream. Oh well. Glad that you don't regret it, though.

Heh, it's very hard to take a break from guys. They're pretty good at appearing everywhere you go... But, you're in control of relationships, which'll be good. It's sort of a relief, actually. Being single, I mean. It's like, you don't have the constant worry of breaking up, and it's okay to like more than one guy at once... It's simpler, definitely.

Yep, it is simpler not to have to worry about wheather or not you're doing the righ thing or not, or if he'll be mad.

Thanks, everyone. I mean, it seems kind of ridiculous, doesn't it, to be thinking relationships will last forever at my age? I've decided, yet again, the that most important thing is to live in the moment. So, that I shall do.

Well, that's good. Relationships don't last forever, even in the real world, so you kinda just have to go with it.

Nope. And you're only in Freshmen year. We're all still kind of in that phase where you're just figuring out the balance it takes to keep a relationship together. And so something went wrong. It's all trial and error, really. Exactly. We've all got plenty of time to figure this sort of thing out.

Just seeing as there are 6 BILLION people in the world, the chance that your soulmate happens to be in your school is really slim. Still possible, yes, but unlikely... It's kind of hard to know that you can't count on everything lasting forever.

Hey, do you guys believe that their's only one soul mate for you? Or that there are multiples? I think there are more than one, because, if, say, yours is in Puerto Rico or something, and you never go there, and they don't, you could still find someone that you love.
