Well, I know Lauren's relationship is going well, and I actually have a story to tell. I was walking out of school today, and I'd gotten my cello, so I came out the side door, and Matt was there, but then the bus had to leave, so everyone else left, and without really saying anything, we stared at each other (not like O.O kind of stare, but, look kind of stare) for about 30 seconds, and then he left to go get on the bus. It was weird, but I felt like we both wanted to say/do something, but really didn't. xD It was weird.

... D'aaaawwww... xD You guys are adorable... And he needs to accept that he has feelings for you that are more than just friendship.

... I'm not sure if that would make you happier, or me happier. xDD But honestly. He needs to get himself together.

xD Why on earth would it make you happier than me? But, he does, if he's switching schools, there's not much that'll happen when I don't see him everyday...

And he needs to tell me if he'll go with me to the dance or not. I yelled at him about it for a bit today. xD He doesn't know if he's going or not, which is really my reason for asking him.... xD He can be rather oblivious sometimes.

Because he's driving my crazy with his constant insistence that I tell him what to do, and when I do, he refuses to listen... And I've yelled at him profusely for switching schools, because he's being an idiot about it...

I know, right? It's so annoying... It's like, dude, just make a decision. Doesn't really matter if it's yes or no, but just get a move on...

Well, to update everyone, he agreed to go with me, and then Spring Fling got canceled. So... xD

Eileen, that sucks. What more can be said of this: an indecisive young man; a springtime celebration of feasting and dancing forever terminated. This is ridiculous! This is SPARTA!!! Don't stare glumly at the screen to long. It damages brain cells.

You guys have experience with crushes, so, when do you think you can say with certainty that you HAVE ONE, and with certainty that one HAS ENDED?

Hm... I would probably need to know more about the situation. However. (Answering this with my own recent experience.) You kind of notice, when you're around them, see them, talk to them, etc., that you kind of get really 'giddy', I would say. When you spend more time thinking about them than anyone else, you know you're starting to crush on them. When that stops is when you know it's gone. That's a basic ground rule, as far as I can say without knowing a scenario. Hope that helps?

And, now, speaking of crushes, to update you all: There's this boy, Jamen, he's a 10th grader, and he's in choir, and he's really hot. And a decent person, too. And I'm majorly crushing on him. If you couldn't tell.

That's kind of a difficult question to answer. You sort of know. Especially if there's that little nagging voice in the back of your brain that's insisting that you like a person, and even if you try to deny it, you sort of can't. But sometimes, it's hard to tell, because you just see the thought of liking a specific person as being inconceivable, and you force yourself to think that it's not true. Or, there's always the famous, "I used to like him/her, but then I stopped, but I'm not sure I ever really stopped." I'm not exactly sure of how to say when you've completely stopped crushing on somebody... Wow, I'm pretty sure I didn't answer the question at all.

Oh, I'm fully aware of this. xD I keep causing you guys to have awkward moments. It's so much fun.

So why does the giddiness start in the first place! Why do you start thinking about so-and-so without a cause in the first place! What in the world! Hormones!

What is the difference between a crush and marital love? Would you feel giddy at the sight of your husband? Maybe if he's away at book fairs all the time.
Would you agree that a crush is an emotional and physical response? The pounding and pittering of a hormonal heart; a beet-red face, and a sick stomach and that pallid, nervous frown. Why do crushes leave us in doubt? Why do our hormones do flips while playing the violin and piano and tap-dancing and making a speech, all at once?

It's normal I've been told, and part of growing up! but why does it have to be!!!
