Line-starter prompts
These are beginning line prompts for you to work off of for a short story, a chapter, a poem, a microfic, or even a larger work of literature if you please! You could also use them for the basis ideas of photography or film as well.
There are five to start. If anyone does use them I'd love to see the final product!
1. It was twilight, and the forest had come alive.
2. She smiled, extending her hand, amber eyes alight. "Don't you trust me?"
3. The water lilly ceased to float on the glassy pond, and as it sunk it transformed into...
4. I gazed around, noting that the grave was the only one in sight not laden with flowers. It was nice to know that I was being missed.
5. Tears splotched the ink as I folded the freshly-written letter up. Tucking it into an envelope and sealing it, I left it on the doorstep, the last line ringing in my ears. "Like Romeo and Juliet, we were meant to be apart."
