Old Soul

Hi guys. It's been so long, so I figured I'd just add a quick poem I wrote recently. It's very different from my usual style, so it was pretty interesting to write.

Old Soul
it’s funny
to think that
from the beginning i’ve
been this way
that i came into this world just
knowing
wrong from right
and the importance of being kind
and i’ve always been able to make good decisions.
in my opinion
it’s better to run at life like a
fearless bullfighter
than to wade on its shores
cautiously dipping your
toes in its murky waters
because you’re going to get hurt
anyway
so why not experience all you
can?
old soul, they’d call me.
