"Hm, I didn't plan anything for dessert, but I probably have ice cream somewhere in the freezer.." Mark got up and walked into the kitchen, peering into the fridge.

"Okay, sounds good!" Lilly called. She also happened to love ice cream. This date- wait. Could she even call it a date...?

There was some chocolate ice cream in the freezer. Mark took it out, spooned out two bowls, and brought them back to the table. "I only had chocolate, I hope that's okay."

"Yeah, that's fine!" Lilly said, her eyes sparkling. She was really enjoying herself, she had to admit.

"You know, this is great. It's been a while since I've had a d-- er, spent time with friends," Mark said. He had almost said date. Was this is a date? It seemed like it, but it could be just a dinner between friends.

"Let's go sit on the couch, it's more comfortable," Mark suggested. He got up and cleared their plates, dumped them in the kitchen sink, and then went into the living room. Rosco was taking up half the couch, asleep.
