Part 1: Into The Darkness
There once was a time when all beings lived in peace; Humans, Sprites, Elves, and Wish-Granters alike.
But on that fateful day, a Wish-Granter turned to Dark Magic, and used her powers to create an army that would follow her every command.
And so Darkness spread over the land.
Everyone in the kingdom of Erathia now lives in hiding, in fear.
But it's only a matter of time before they return.

Maturity: Romance, battle scenes
Fantasy: Alot - mythical creatures, mind control, fairies, wizards, and elves, etc.
PLOT: Part 1: Darkness is just starting to spread over Erathia. People are starting to be brainwashed or go missing, and the South Kingdom has been taken over completely by the Legion Of Darkness. People are starting to take notice of the danger they are in, but haven't started to do anything quite yet.
Your Guide To Erathia And The Creatures Who Inhabit It
-THe KiNGDoMS-
- Spoiler:
- There are Five Kingdoms in Erathia; but only Four have been... settled in. The North Kingdom, where the Wish-Granters reside, is cold and snowy most of the year. The South Kingdom, where the Legion Of Darkness has it's main base, is hot, the home of many volcanoes and hot springs. The East Side, where the Mortals and Wizards go about their lives, is mainly composed of cities and villages, as well as some feilds and farms. The West Side, where the Sprites and Elves find home, is mainly forests and meadows. The Fifth Kingdom is the legendary Center Kingdom; the only place where all species live in peace. Not one creature has been able to discover this area so far, but when it is discovered, it will mean eternal peace and happiness.

Mortals: Mortals are normal human beings with no magical powers. Children go to school to learn arithmatic, sciences and literature and adults have jobs such as a carpenter, ironsmith, tailor or merchant.
Wizard: Wizards look and dress exactly like Mortals, except they have wands and magical powers. However, these aren't your Harry Potter type of wizards. Each Wizards has a Gift - meaning the branch of magic that their Gift is in is the only branch of magic they can preform. For instance, someone whos Gift is to talk to animals cannot fly on a broomstick, transfigure objects or brew potions. Spells can be cast by all Wizards, however, to make things hover in midair, do household chores, defend oneself, duel, etc. But more advanced and presice branches of magic can only be preformed by those of that Gift. This is probably very confusing so if you have any questions, please ask.
Sprites: Basically, Sprites are fairies, however, contrary to popular beleif, Sprites look exactly like humans in every aspect, including their size. The only difference is their wings. Sprites, like Wizards, have Gifts. The concept for Sprite Gifts is exactly the same as Wizard Gifts.
Elves:Elves are the same size as humans, but they look much different. Their skin color varries, and can be various pastel colors such as pale blue, pale yellow, very light pink, pastel green, etc. They have pointed ears. Other than that, they look like humans. Elves do not possess magical powers; they are skilled artisans.
Wish-Granters: Wish-Granters are a most interesting species. They are human in apperance, but they have extrodinary magical powers. They can grant any wish. Meaning, they can make anything happen. Wish-Granters are shut up in the North Tower, an enormous palace in the snowy North Kingdom, to protect the rest of the world from their immense power. To learn how to master and control their powers, Wish-Granters stay in the Academy until they are responsible and knowledgeable enough to be released into the rest of the castle. [For now, all Wish-Granters will be in the Academy.]
Fire Elementals: Fire Elementals have two forms: Fire Form and Human Form. When they are in human form, they look, as the name suggests, like humans, except for their orange eyes. When they are in fire form, they are still in the shape of humans, but they are completely made up of fire (Think Human Torch from the Fantastic Four) and can shoot fireballs to close targets.
Dark Ghosts: Shapeshifters. They can transform into any creature, animal, or object, except for a Wish-Granter. In their original form, Dark Ghosts are masses of black smoke (Like the HP Death Eaters when they're flying around in the sky), incapable of anything but transformation.
**You can apply to be a vampire or a talking animal as well, but I don't want too many because they're really rare in Erathia.
RULES:
- Follow all RP rules
- Romance is allowed, but remember, serious kissing at the most.
- For now, small battles are allowed, but don't go crazy with the battling until we get to the actual war.
- Use [] {} or () while in Out Of Character chat
- Try to avoid one-liners when possible
- Put all dialouge in quotation marks (") and remember proper grammer and punctuation.
- Please be kind to other RPers
- PM all character forms to me
- Please note that this takes place in midevil-ish times in an alternate dimension.
- Put Into The Darkness in Dark Blue italics in your form if you've read all the rules.

History (optional): When he was just nine years old, Firelox was ordered to be part of an attack on the North Tower. Instead of harming him, the Wish-Granter wished that the lesion that made him brainwashed and controllable by the Legion of Darkness was gone. Aroura walked out into the courtyard, sitting down on a stone bench beneath an icy cherry blossom tree. The cold wind blew her albino hair in front of her face and carried snow through the air to fall on her head and shoulders. Cold as she was, Aroura did not leave. It was beautiful out here.

Susie bit her lower lip and stared blankly at the wall before her. There was nothing to do here, the only other option was to go outside. And go outside was what Susie did. Stepping out into the cold, a buffeting blast swept Susie's hair over her eyes, making it difficult to see.

[Chaffing? xD I wasn't sure what that meant, so I looked it up, and this is what it says: "chaff (chaffed, chaffing, chaffs) 1- To tease somebody lightheartedly 2 - To banter" xD It also said "meaningless object", "seed coverings removed by threshing" and "strips of metal to obstruct radar" ... IDK...]
Aroura heard the door slide open and looked up from where she sat, staring at a bird flying overhead. Another girl was making her way into the courtyard, blown back a bit by the wind. Aroura tucked a loose strand of hair behind her ear as she watched the girl.

Susie began to have second thoughts about coming outside, but decided that freezing was better then remaining bored. She trudged through the snow, minute icicles stinging her cheeks as she stopped beneath a barren tree to catch her breath, which was coming in ragged gasps.

[You know what's kind of ironic? Wish-Granters can make anything happen, so if they wanted to, they could just wish for the darkness to be gone. But then again, if they did that, it wouldn't make a very interesting story. xP ]
