OMG I'm having a major inspirational moment! I NEED to write. Its like, I'm a complete emotional wreck right now, but I feel like I just NEED to pick up my pen and write poetry, or SOMETHING or else I'll explode!!!

YES! I totally know what you mean! I actually like it once I get into that mood. I give better advice like that.

Yes, I completely know that mood!! That, my friend, is called the INSPIRED MOOD. You're expressive and creative and you need to get your emotions out of your system by writing or else you will explode or you might explode something around you, such as a banana. No, well, I just wanted to bring bananas into this. DON'T JUDGE ME!

Ricky didn't reply to my FB message I sent him about the plot so I'm going to have to kill him. And I'm getting impaitent so I'll just PM you about it.

I'm not to sure if I like the feeling. For some reason, my 'sad' mood and my 'creative' mood mix really well and usually a depressing, but good poem comes out of me. But my 'so superly majorly depressed' mood and my 'creative' mood don't mix all to that well. I end up with a really depressing poem that ends with death. Lovely, eh? :/

Ugh, stupid hormones! I've been mood swinging ALL DAY! I hate it! My "mad" mood and "creative mood" just wind up with me tearing the paper in half. xD Watch out.

xD I usually only have mood swings with my parents. I'll be perfectly happy getting home from school and then in two minutes my mom will make me pissed as hell and then later I'll be totally fine. Sometimes, though, I think too much and get myself depressed. Those usually last for a few hours. And then someone, who is always Brandon, makes me feel better.

My problem is that I get into a mood swing, usually just something random, and then, I'll get into a depressed state, or an angry one, and then I suddenly go very deep. Then it scares me a little bit...

I scare myself all the time. I've actually considered cutting myself a few times and I've wanted to run away so many times. But I've never done either. I do have a pocketknife in my closet, though, and once I actually took it out and held it to my wrist but I couldn't do it. I'm glad I'm emotionally weak and terrified of physical injury. Otherwise I'd have a lot of scars...

I've thought about it before, and I've been tempted to try, but I decided that it's better off for me, and everybody else if I don't. But my brain goes all funny when I get to that point, and I start saying freakishly deep things without meaning to. A quote from my and Eileen's chat last night, "I don't want you to have to be around me. It really is sorta creepy. But it might be worse when I'm alone, trapped in my own mind, with no where to escape to, just pounding on walls of solid darkness...."

I don't know if this counts as cutting myself, but sometimes when I'm depressed I get Willow angry and let her claw me so I bleed. Then I regret it but in a way I sort of don't...
Wow, that is really deep. Yes, I find that when you're depressed something in your brain just clicks and you can't let it go, you've got to get it out because not only might it help, it's usual something deep or genius creative spark. I think the reason why there's so much depressing poetry is because people are inspired when they get depressed. It's horrible, but it's fact. Today in English I was realy depressed and we're in a poetry unit, thank goodness, so I scribbled down what wsa running through my mind and I was really pleased with the outcome. I used metaphor to compare a bloodred sunset to a gory battle. The clouds were the soldiers and the gray of the darkening sky was misery.. it's a really cool poem, I think.

I love how we're being all depressing in the first paragraph of our posts and all happy and energetic in the second.

I know. Sometimes I'll bite myself, as weird as it sounds, but not enough to bleed.

I know what you mean. There are just some times when you have to sort of hurt yourself. Sometimes I don't eat when I'm hungry. Sometimes I let Willow scratch or bite me. Sometimes I dig my nails into my skin, usually my arm or my stomach, until I can't stand it anymore.

Yep. I usually refuse to let myself though. Especially for Laurence's sake, because it makes him really scared when people hurt themselves on purpose. There are two girls in my grade who really are, and he talks about how badly they scare him a lot of the time... I find it helps to read the stories from GivesMeHope.com and LoveGivesMeHope.com. Yeah, I don't really hurt myself, I don't have mood swings, and I don't get depressed. But, I'm not a very deep person. So, I'm just sort of enjoying life, and I'm feeling like I don't really belong in this conversation.
