To answer your question about hugging, there really is no normal way to hug. Since Brandon is significantly taller than me, it's sort of tricky. Sometimes I stand on my tiptoes and put my arms around his neck resting my head on his shoulder. Sometimes I put my arms under his shoulders like around the middle. And quite often he hugs me from behind, like sneaks up on me and hugs me, and that's either around the waist or around my shoulders.

GAh! Our grade is so gullible and falls for all rumors! Lauren found this amusing, but Skyler and I most certainly did not. So, this is what happened:
About two weeks, or maybe more ago, Lauren zapped me for Skyler. So, I had to ask him out. I did, and told him it was a zap, and everything, showed him his name on my hand. So, today, Skyler was upset, not in the morning, but after snack. And, I didn't know why. Then, during salsa'ing in Spanish, Will said to Skyler, "You're cheating on Kelsey." (His girlfriend) or something along those lines. Then, during lunch recess, Will came up to me and asked me if Skyler and I were going out. I said no and explained it was a zap. He left and went back to Skyler, who started explaining to him that this was what he was saying the whole time. Then, Braden came up and asked, then, Elliot asked, then, in math, Braden asked if I knew Skyler had a girlfriend. I said yes, and he went back to talking with Dominic, but, it was so freaking annoying! No one seemed to get that it was a zap, or, as I had to explain to them, sort of like a dare. It failed! Gah!
On the bright side though, Skyler did accept my invitation to chat with him on gmail. I was happy!

Okay, me and Laurence had the weirdest conversation today! xD A little bit of background first: At the end of fifth grade, Laurence gave me a marble that he called "Turtle" and to this day, I still have it. It's sort of been symbolic for almost 2 years now, so I decided to give him one of mine. So we were walking to seventh period. Today was our artist in residence, so we got to make African beads, Ukranian eggs, and learn Capuera, which is a Brazilian martial arts/dance. Our grade was divided into three groups, and we spent the first 6 periods rotating between the three. So now:
Me: Hey Laurence.
Him: Hi.
Me: What class did you just have?
Him: I just made the beads. My hands hurt now.
Me: I know. Your fingers get sore after a while.
Him: Yeah. What did you call your marble?
Me (misunderstanding): Well, you gave me the one in fifth grade, so--
Him: Yes, I know. But I called that one "turtle," so what did you call yours?
Me: Oh! I didn't name it. You can, if you want.
Him: ... I licked it.
Me: (stares) Okay... (not sure whether or not to laugh)
Him: I couldn't resist!
Me: (hugs)

Ahahaha, I'm not sure if I should find it funny, cute, or just weird. xD I know! He's definitely lost it. Hahah, Laurence's mum was helping with the Ukranian eggs today, and a girl in our grade was like, "Oh! Are you Laurence's mom?"
"Yes, I am. How could you tell? The accent?" (she has a really strong British accent. )
"No, you look sort of like him."
"Oh, really? I don't think I look at all like him! He's always been our... oddest child." xDD
