Three Poems

I'll be out of town for the next week, and I don't know if I'll have internet access or not, so I probably won't talk to you all. To compensate. Three poems. Two of which aren't my usual style.

Missing You

I miss how it feels
To be in your arms
That you'll keep me safe
Like a good-luck charm

I long for the brush
Of your lips on mine
The secret we shared
I can't keep off my mind

I yearn for the glint
In your eyes again
Rather than the company
Of the relentless pain

This razor simulates
The scars on my heart
For, I won't let you go
'Til death do us part

Broken. Shattered.
Left all alone.
I'm left hurting for you
Down to the bone

Cycle

Eye contact
Smile
Forgetting
For a while
Friends
Just friends
Can't let
Memories
Defile
We must not
Recall
What started
It all
Or else we might
Repeat
What caused us
To fall
Turn away
From her
As the tears
Start to blur
Eyes downcast
To the floor
Don't even think it
You know that
It will only hurt
When she walks
Away
Hover close
Stay at bay
Glance
Back up
And repeat the cycle
All over again

Hidden

S(he) only (wants) him (to) see
Past the m(ask) that keeps (her) hidden
Only wishing for him to understand (what) she sees
She needs him to know what (she's) (feeling)
(So) that at last, s(he) (can) find (help) for (her)self
(But) s(he) (knows) (that) (he) (never) (will)

Awwww.... I love Hidden.
