Dude, let him do whatever, if he asks you out, say no. Politely though, and don't worry about it. Tell him you're not interested. He probably won't listen, but just keep telling him until he gets it.

Well I just completely forgot to check this for a few days and missed a lot.. well, basically I agree with what everyone else said, and, yeah. xD Sorry, I would give insight and advice, but it's fairly late, past midnight, and I just spent the evening with Chris and his crazy/awesome friends making a huge bonfire with lighter fluid and shit so I'm pretty tired.

LOL, well, sounds like you had a good time. I spent my Saturday night doing a puzzle with Eileen, Jenna, Abi, Drew, David, Kate, Megan, Sophia, and Jaimie. xD Oh. And chasing David around the house and chucking balls of tape at him while he whacked me with a huge inflatable hammer. Then talking with Eileen in a bathtube until 11. Yup, it was a good night. xDD

My new information: Things are looking up for me. I hung out with Lor for a bit during Lunch today, and we talked, and played four square for a while, and I found out that he's not mad or upset with me, but thought I was with him. Alas, again with the confusion. It was like normal again, though. I'm happy.

No, no... But it's still nice to know that I didn't do anything that particularly upset him. I still don't know exactly why, but I have a theory. I think it might be that he can't handle the rumors again... It was pretty bad in the spring, too. People give him crap about me, and he struggles with peer pressure, cause he has to put up with people talking about him, and me, and his friends, and collapses. I don't blame him. I somehow find this FAR more believable than the other things I've come up with thus far.

Yeah, it sounds that way. As long as you're both happy though, that's what really pretty much matters. I think that you guys will get back together somewhere down the road, though.

Yepp... Well, enjoy it for as long as you can! Be that a few months, or the rest of your life.

The things said themselves don't bother me, but it bothers me that they bother him. (Wow. Fail.) But my theory is this (hopefully it's not too biased): Bad things stick to him, firstly, so anything people say about him hurts him. (Cruel, evil, and harmful seem to be the ones that he hears most.) Then I guess it kills when they say stuff about me, because they know he'll be upset by it. Then you throw in that he can't trust his friends (I don't ask why, but so he says), so he can't vent. He trusts, or trusted, me, but he can't talk about half the stuff on his mind, because he doesn't want to break me to pieces in the process. And thus, he's left with nobody to talk to, all this cycling around in his brain, and he can't do anything about it... It'd be enough to drive anybody insane, and I think he figured that the best he could do was break up, hope I didn't hate him for it, and hope that I can come to this conclusion, and that I'll still like him. That's what I'm holding on to, at least...

I just realized how close the future is. It's quite frightening... I've always thought, when I had a boyfriend, "oh we're going to last forever lalalala" (well, not the la la la part. xD) but I've never actually considered how long forever is, and how far until I get there. But suddenly forever seems to be zooming at me at a million miles an hour, suddenly close enough to touch. And it's really crazy, but I think, if we manage to survive the separation of college in two years, we could actually make it. And that's terrifying and wonderful at the same time.

Oh, dear, that must be horrible. I would hate to have nobody to talk to. For the longest time, I did. Only since Ricky and I became true best friends in these past few months have I had someone who I could tell everything and never be afraid of being judged or have to worry about trust. And I've been so much happier with a voice of reason and comfort standing beside me, preventing me from becoming more insane than I already am. I hope Laurence finds someone he can trust besides you and I hope he learns to overcome the taunts and stop worrying about what society thinks.

Yeah, the future is upon us. I'm gonna be a high schooler next year, and then what? The times we want to hold on to always zip away.

I agree with Nadine, I hope that he can find someone besides you, although you happen to be a very good person to confide in, but I guess that'd be awkward for him..... But, I do think, if he learns to deal with the taunts, or they stop, then you two will get back together.

I agree with Elieen agreeing with Nadine. That must be horrible for him, not having anyone to talk to... And hopefully when he finds someone to talk to, maybe getting it out will lessen his hate or the taunts...?

I know... I'm in shock. Like, I don't exactly want to go to high school. It makes me very nervous... I can't believe that there're only about 4 and a half months left before school is over again. Time goes too quickly...

I know... I can only imagine. (Eileen, I've been meaning to ask for a while, what makes me such a good person to confide in?) I think that might be partly why I get upset when he's hurt, because I know that he won't be able to explain why... :-\ I don't think the rumors and whatnot will ever stop, but hopefully, he'll be able to get beyond caring... With any luck, we will be back together. Cause he still smiles at me, I've caught him watching me, like, O.o, 26 times since Tuesday, and he still (alright, this will sound weird), but he still lets me flirt with him, and flirts back. It's actually sorta sweet. But, you know, he's still the city boy to my small town girl, so it's not like it really matters. I still like him. xD
