2nd Week of swimming Empty 2nd Week of swimming

Today was much better it was our second week and i didn't cry and our bus wasn't late this time.I sat with Bethan on the way there and we were first again to do the swimming.
I was so excited, before we started she told us to sit at the side of the pool.
Then she told us to turn over and jump in i actually managed to do that, last week i was too scared to do it so i just jumped. We then got numbers and got a float and started kinda kicking our legs i didn't really move much. Then she gave me a second float to steady myself a bit more and gave a pointer about kicking our legs and leg length.
Anyway we all tried again and i did well. Then we moved onto learning how to swim backwards.I was really scared that Jane held my head to help me float i managed to do it a bit.I made great progress today but i think there's still room for loads more.

Sounds like it's getting a lot better. Ahh, how I wish I could swim right now... But alas it's about 20 degrees here. xD

You have the makings of Micheal Phelps! continue along this path and you shall replace him in the Olympics! Well that was quite an exaggeration, however you are progressing well; I know I have only learnt to swim recently and am still frightened of the pool and its inhabitants.
Of course if you ever are possessed by fits of weeping when in the vicinity of a pool, you may dunk your head in and no one would be the wiser!
