Dusk was aboard an Island Five warship, the second one in the fleet. He glanced up to the horribly cheery blue sky and saw something streaking through the air, straight towards the ship beside his. Was it... a yoshi?

"Greetings, children!" one of the yoshis called loudly. "My name is scruffy!"
"I don't remember mistress Licky saying anything about using it today," said a red yoshi.
"Um, okay. Well, 'Mistress Licky' is my Gram. Er, I'm Fuzzy, by the way,"

Claret nodded. "I'm Claret."

"Oh. Please, come with us, and we'll show you around," said the red yoshi. "I'm Karis, by the way. This is my good friend Scruffy,"

"Nice to meet you."

"Yeah, yeah, you too," Scruffy replied in a some-what grumpy voice.
"Er, right..." Fuzzy muttered.
"Ookay, questions, comments, concerns, smart remarks?" Karis said with a yawn.

"No, smart-ass. Get on with it," Claret growled. This is why she hated being nice.

Karis growled- she didn't know yoshis could- "I'm gonna tell you right off the bat, Clare, you're really pissing me off."
"Okay guys, calm down...." Fuzzy said.

"It's Claret, actually, smart one," she snapped. "The one day I try to be nice, it bites me in the ass. I should just kill you all." She was getting worked up into a rage again.

"Whatever..." Karis grumbled, at the same time Scruffy exclaimed, "Whoa now! Settle down, lil' lady,"
"Shh, shh, it's fine!" Fuzzy said, turning to Claret, waving her arms frantically. Turning back to Karis, she added coldly, "We'll be skipping the tour, thank you."

Claret glared around at everyone.

"S'okay, s'okay!" Fuzzy repeated frantically.
She turned to Scruffy. "Please, show us out of here," she said.

Calm down, Claret.
I don't fecking want to. Don't tell me what to do.

"Sure, sure," Scruffy said. "Right down these doors, an'..." He pushed a button on the side of the door, there was a click! and a loud beeping sound, that wouldn't end. The lights were replaced by red.
"You put this place on lock down, you idiot!" Karis shouted madly at him.

((Hhahaa, I know I am. I tell myself to STFU about four times a day. xD ))

"Smart move," remarked Claret sarcastically.

((Mhmm! I know what you mean..))

"When will this end?" Fuzzy moaned. "I'm closter phobic." she said feeling woozy.
"Don't vomit on me, Island 1er," Karis growled.
"Please. I just get nervous."
Karis sighed, and sat down, her eyes closed.
"All righty whipper snappers, this should be over in, I think, a couple hours..."

"That's just wonderful," growled Claret.

"Hey, be nice to Scruffy! He's like a dad to me!" Karis snapped at Claret.
"So, tell us," said the yoshi who hadn't yet spoken. It was a male orange yoshi, who looked obsencely old. "Who's the elder that's sent you?"
"Er, Licky, my Gram. I've already said that," Fuzzy muttered.
"Licky?" the elder asked. "No. That's impossible. She was my wife, and I watched her die 10 years ago..."
"No, she's very much around, isn't she, Claret?"

"Yes, very much so... you say she's your wife?"

"Yesser, she was-"
"So, you say you saw her die?" Fuzzy inturpted.
"Well, we were married until the island split.... " He said.
"She's on Island 1."
BEEP! The door unlocked, and the lights were no longer red.
"Thank God!" Fuzzy said, throwing her arms in the air. She began to walk out, but paused to see if Clarety was following.

Claret got up and followed Fuzzy. She was curious as to what happened with the elder and Licky.

Fuzzy called out loudly, "Which way?" and a golden arrow appeared, pointing to the right. She continued that way, until a sign above a door read "Exit".
"Okay, so we're trying to look for locals, and anyone with any info. And, if we can, some spells so we won't have to transport anymore. It'll be a lot easier," Fuzzy explained.

"Okay," said Claret. "Why do you think our fur is gone?"

"Funny stuff happens. We may possibly have lost it in the teleporter, or since it's hotter here we just don't need it anymore."

"Will we get it back when we go back?"
